1. Plan a weekend away.
Sit down with your sweetheart (and your calendars) and plan a getaway. Whether you go to the other side of town or pack a big suitcase, make it happen.
And don’t talk about the kids. Or money. Or problems. Have fun and enjoy the time away.
And while we're talking about getting away....
2. Have a regular date night.
Don’t wait for the sneaky rendezvous weekend – do something fun together regularly. My husband and I catch a local cheap film and grab a cup of coffee every Friday night. Sometimes we get crazy and simply browse at the big box hardware store.
Whether once a week or once a month, make your dates regular, low-budget, and low stress.
