Start Saving And Stop Living Paycheck to Paycheck
Everyone loves payday, but have you ever felt like your paycheck is spent far before you even receive it? Like every pence of your hard-earned cash is accounted for before you even receive it.

Unfortunately, this is the reality for many people. This is their life. And it is no fun!

Before you begin questioning what the point of working is if you can’t ever get ahead, read these tips below. In following these tips, you can add more money to your bank account without changing jobs or selling an organ.

Budgeting

An answer to your problems may be as easy as one simple thing... budgeting. Now, it’s not as scary as it sounds. It’s as simple as math as you get... you have a certain amount of money and you want to make sure that you are tracking where it goes. Make certain you account for grocery shopping, petrol for your car, bills and any other expense that comes out of your paycheck each week.

By simply tracking where your money is going, you will see where the unnecessary spending is coming from.

Use cash, not debit or credit

It is far too easy to go over your spending if you cannot physically SEE your money. Having something tangible that you can run out of will help you to spend less money than simply swiping a card.

Better yet, make envelopes of where the cash goes. Make a grocery one, a meal one, etc. If your envelope runs out, then you will wait until the next paycheck to replenish it. This is a strict but very effective way to save cash quickly.

Live within your meaNs

If you are already strapped for cash, you should not be trying to keep up with the Joneses. Instead, survey what you can spend and live your best life. Collecting cars, boats, campers, houses, etc. when you truly cannot afford it will only lead to financial hardship and perhaps relationship problems. Don’t try to be someone you are not and also know that items, no matter how expensive, cannot make you more likeable or more valuable, only your morals and your actions can do that.
What have you tried in order to break the cycle of living paycheck to paycheck? Have you found any success? Help some other mums out who may be struggling.
